About your guide:
Madhukar Shukla is Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Strategic Management at XLRI in Jamshedpur, India. He has a Ph.D. in psychology from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, and around 25 years of experience as a consultant and trainer - his recent engagements have been with American Express, Bharti Enterprise, Delphi India Ltd., Hindustan Lever Ltd., GE India, Infosys Technologies, ITC Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra, Novell Software, Oracle India Ltd., Pramati Technologies, Sasken Technologies, Tata Sons, and Timken Ltd.
His professional interests include Cross-Cultural Management, Knowledge Management & Learning Organisation, Management of Creativity and Innovation, Organisational Strategy and Transformation. Madhukar also (co)moderates many online professional groups, including InterculturalInsights, HRGyan, KMSI (Knnowledge Management Society of India), DotcomWorld, etc.
He has contributed more than 30 papers to professional journals in these areas and has published two books -- Competing through Knowledge: Building a Learning Organisation (Response Books, Sage Publications, 1997), and Understanding Organisations (Prentice-Hall of India, 1996).
